The machining, tensile testing, and fatigue testing stages of the project when smoothly as expected.  The results obtained from testing, shown in the tables above were fairly close to the predicted outcome.  These results made it possible to obtain ultimate tensile strength,  m value, and fatigue strength index  C_o  for the material for use in the prototype software.  The final software prototype results looked promising in all cases but in each case the wires to the strain gage severed soon after the test began due to the violent motion cause by the fatigue machine.  Our team believes that there is no problems with the software that the only problem lies within the strain measurement system, mainly the strain gage and wiring.

Our team recommends that more time should be spent testing and debugging the final prototype software until there isn't any issuesThe first approach the team proposes is to use electrical tape to connect the wires to the strain gage rather than soldering them.  It seemed in testing that the less rigid the connection is the better it will perform under the violent motion of the fatigue machine.
